WHAT IS THE NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme or NDIS is a national scheme that provides support to individuals living with a disability. The NDIS provides support to eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disabilities. Early intervention supports can also be provided for eligible people with disability or children with developmental delays.
Who is eligible?
- You must be under 65 to access the NDIS
- Be Australian citizens, Permanent Visa holders or
Protected Special Category Visa holders. - Have intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory, physical, or psychosocial impairment.
